  I have had a great number of musical influences. Therefore, it seems only natural that my musical expressions span everything from classical to world music, as well as experimental music and the fusion of different styles. Being someone with no formal musical training, I have learned, and continue to learn by way of experimentation. Experimentation is fun and often leads to the unexpected. I dedicate this, my second CD, to you, the listener. I also wish to thank all of those who have had an influence on my life - friends, family and acquaintances - who, through a simple gesture or a smile, have helped to lift me up. If any of the music here helps to lift you up, then I think it will have served its purpose.
  
  It is twilight. The stars are winking on across the heavens. Campfires crackle to life all along the length of the Silk Road. You hear the sound of distant drums answered by a blast on a ram's horn. Cymbals ring, a goat bellows maaaah, and the night of guarded caravans and strangers gives way to strange and wondrous music and dance. Cultures meet, mingle, and new friendships blossom under the swirl of stars amidst the dance of flickering firelight and shadow. May music always lead to cross cultural friendship and understanding. May its Universal Language always be a language of Peace.
